About the product

The Core IO is a reliable and easily configured distributed I/O module range compatible with any Modbus controller.

You can configure the CR-IO-40MULTI-RS easily via the dedicated Android app. All you need is an Android device with a camera and Bluetooth. Once you have installed the dedicated app, open it up and scan the QR code on the device located next to the power supply. Once the QR code has been recognized the app will connect to the device and you will be able to start the configuration.

You can also configure the CR-IO-40MULTI-RS via the Modbus connection to set it up. Please see the manual for full instructions

The CR-IO-40MULTI-RS comes with an RS485 connection. The CR-IO-40MULTI-RS has 8UI, 16DI, 8DO, and 8UO.
The inputs and outputs are configurable for pulse counting, various types of sensors, and logic direction.

The Core IO range has opto-isolator on the RS485 building automation controller port.

Other features include the LED’s on the front of the devices representing each input and output which will help your engineer identify fault statuses quickly, reducing the time spent on call-outs. The built-in Watchdog function will be there to keep systems running in the event of a power outage or loss of communication between the IO module and the Jace.

This module is fully compatible with any Modbus system including the following: Tridium Jace3, Jace6, Jace8000 Compatible, iSMA MAC36 Controller, Honeywell Centraline Hawk, and Compatible IO Modules.

Core IO has built-in Bluetooth which allows the Core Settings app to run on an Android device to configure the IP settings and I/O.
Please download the app from Google Play – search for “core settings

Download and install the app, then check/make the following settings changes –
• Open your phone settings (drag down from the top, press the “cog” icon)
• Click on “Apps”
• Select the “Core Settings” app
• Press “Permissions”
• Press “Camera” – set it to “Allow only while using the app”
• Go back then press “Nearby devices” – set it to “Allow”
