What We Do

Our mission is to make buildings smarter by helping businesses reduce energy costs and achieve their environmental goals by using our knowledge of manufacturers’ products and controls systems coupled with our forward-thinking approach to service provision.

Automate processes

Use our Building Management System to control your energy-consuming devices, allowing us to analyse and improve your energy performance using the below intelligent controllers.

Tridium

Tridium is a global leader in business application frameworks that have fundamentally changed the way devices and systems connect. Tridium’s open frameworks and environments are changing the rules for automation technology.

Distech Controls

Distech Controls connects people with intelligent building solutions through forward-thinking technologies and services. They partner with customers to deliver innovative solutions that can provide better health, better spaces, and better efficiencies.

Trend

Trend is one of the world’s leading Building Energy Management Systems manufacturers. Its fully integrated control solutions are able to meet the most complex requirements of modern buildings.

Heating

The way we heat UK buildings will need to change significantly if we are to achieve our 2050 net zero goal. What could the future look like for the UK’s commercial buildings?

The focus to date has largely centred on the UK’s circa 28million existing homes. But given that non-domestic buildings are responsible for 17% of UK energy consumption and 12% of greenhouse gas emissions, they too will play an essential role in hitting net zero.

Cooling

New air-cooling system has unique four-stage safety concept and innovative thermal disinfection.

The Coronavirus outbreak has increased awareness of hygienic room climate issues, ventilation and air-conditioning systems in public buildings. If planned poorly or not serviced properly, air conditioning units can quickly turn into transmitters of disease-causing germs.

Purification

HEPA filters: A two-stage filter concept filters 99.99% of all microorganisms, bacteria and viruses from the air.
UV lamps reliably kill viruses, germs and bacteria that have been accumulated on the particulate air filter.
Antimicrobial Interior Coating: The inner plates of the cooler are coated with silver ions which destroy viruses, bacteria, germs and mould.
Thermal disinfection: After the unit is switched off, heat exchangers and condensate drip tray are heated sequentially for about 10 minutes to approx. 70 °C. This dries out the biofilm resulting from the cooling process, reliably killing micro-organisms and viruses.

Extensive research and development along with live installation data capture has shown that by replacing AC fans with an EC fan upgrade, an organisation can optimise its air handling unit for ultimate energy efficiency,  potentially reducing energy usage by up to 70%

In buildings with a high and constant demand for heat and power, CHP offers a long-term solution to significant financial savings and low carbon heat. But to optimise the benefits, planned maintenance is key

With heat pumps predicted to play a central role in decarbonising heat in new homes as set out in the Government’s Future Home Standard, how can these systems be designed now and, in the years to come, to make the most of their environmental and energy-saving credentials

Leading UK engineers have assessed the possibility of using hydrogen in place of natural gas in the UK’s gas grid and concluded that there is no reason why this cannot be achieved safely.

Valves and actuators are largely unseen elements of a building services system, they can have a significant impact on system performance, occupant comfort and energy efficiency.

People offer countless excuses for failing to maintain HVAC plant – ‘It’s too expensive… too disruptive… too time consuming… too difficult… too much effort’, the justifications go on. The arguments in favour of maintenance are, however, powerful and the cost is absurdly low when compared with the cost of dealing with a catastrophic equipment failure.
